Description |
This vessel is red with black design on the the interior. The design is a band that follows the rim but leaves the base undecorated. The band has alternating serrated lines, both paint-filled and hatch-filled. Wear is present on both the interior and exterior base as well as scraping marks on the interior sides. This vessel evidently was used, perhaps for mixing and storage of material (pigments?). Two small chips are present on the rim. No restoration or reconstruction is apparent. |
